San Diego, CA – San Diego County Assessor/ Recorder/ County Clerk has expanded office hours to offer a new “Love After Hours Evening Wedding Services” program. Couples may book an appointment for an Evening Wedding this Wednesdays this summer: September 14, 2022, between the hours of 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM. Customers can also walk without an appointment to purchase Birth, Death, and Marriage certificates or file a Fictitious Business Names . Many students need their birth certificates school and university enrollment.

Chief Deputy Assessor/ Taxpayer Advocate Jordan Marks said, “Our team has taken another step to make sure that your wedding day is perfect with our new ‘love after hours evening wedding’ appointment offerings to make it easier for you, your family and loved ones to celebrate your love.” Marks continued, “Your Assessor/ Recorder/ County Clerk’s office puts customers first, especially when making sure that happiness begins here with a memorable marriage ceremony.”

September 14^th is our last evening of the summer, couples may schedule appointments for a Marriage License and/or Civil Ceremony between 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the following four office locations – County Administration Center in Downtown on the waterfront, Chula Vista, San Marcos, and Santee.

The office will also serve walk in customers who would like to purchase birth, death, and marriage certificates or file Fictitious Business Name statements during these extended hours. Couples are encouraged to complete their Marriage License application online ahead of the appointment time at www.SDARCC.com for faster service. Guests are welcome and can enjoy our new Downtown and Santee guest lounges.

The cost of a non-confidential marriage license is $70.00.  For the ceremony – to be performed by one of our wonderful County staff, in English or Spanish – there is an additional cost of $88.00.
