The application to request a Letter of No Record is the same as a request for a marriage certificate. Essentially, you are requesting a marriage certificate, and upon us not finding one (because one does not exist), we may issue a Letter of No Record proving your single status.

You can request a Letter of No Record at any of our available office locations linked below. Appointments are not necessary.
Complete the marriage certificate application (for a Letter of No Record). In the Marriage Information section, provide your full name and date of birth.
The Sworn Statement and notarization are not required.
Please circle “Letter of No Record” or write “LNR” at the top of your application.
