The Office of Taxpayer Advocate is here to help!
The Taxpayer Advocate will:
- Assist taxpayers whose problems are not being resolved through ordinary Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk (ARCC) or Treasurer/Tax Collector (TTC) channels.
- Create meaningful relationships with community partners, especially efforts to reach underserved populations.
- Offer workshops and educational sessions on various Tax topics and operations of the ARCC.
- Promote taxpayer issues and innovative approaches to enhanced service delivery from ARCC staff.
- Provide ARCC information to government, business, and community leaders.
- Follow State property tax and recordation legislation and provide comment to policy makers.
