Notice Regarding Marriage Ceremony Scheduling and Availability 

Outdoor marriage ceremonies are subject to change based on availability. Factors affecting availability include, but are not limited to: weather conditions, obstructions, events, or maintenance activities.

Unavailable Marriage Service Dates

Due to scheduled Secretary of State Apostille services, marriage services will not be available on the following dates:

County Administration Center

• Wednesday, April 8, 2026
• Wednesday, August 12, 2026
• Wednesday, December 2, 2026

Important Notices by Office

County Administration Center

• From December 1, 2025 through January 30, 2026, the outdoor wedding arbor will be unavailable due to renovations. 
• Marriage licenses and indoor ceremonies will still be available. 
• We will make every effort to accommodate outdoor ceremony requests at alternate arbors, but all ceremony appointments during this period will be scheduled indoors. 

San Marcos

• From December 22, 2025, through January 30, 2026, the outdoor wedding arbor at the San Marcos office will be unavailable due to construction. 
• The San Marcos office will only offer marriage license and indoor ceremonies during this time.
