The Deadline to File your 571L- Business Property Statement is April 1, 2024.
In accordance with Assembly Bill 878, effective January 1, 2024:
Sections of the State of California’s
Business and Professions Code have been updated. These changes focus
on protecting privacy by using the business’ mailing address instead
of the registrant’s home address on all FBN Statement filings.
Starting January 1, 2024, the updated
FBN forms should be used. These forms will be available online and in
our offices.

Between December 1, 2023, and April 30, 2024, if you believe the market value of your property has fallen below the assessed value as shown on your current property tax bill for 2023, then you may submit a request for an “Informal Review of Assessment” for your property. We will keep you informed on our review and any reduction we can grant will be reflected on your 2024 tax bill that you will receive next Fall.

The 2023 Assessment Roll has been completed and the 2023 Notification of Assessed Value for all taxable real estate parcels has been posted.
Search by Parcel Number or Address to find the assessed values and exemption amounts for 2023.
FIRST PROPERTY TAX RELIEF DEADLINE April 10, 2024 at 5 p.m. PT
The Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk is offering qualified property owners tax relief if their property was impacted by the recent floods in San Diego County.
If your home, business property, boat, or plane had over $10,000 in damage from the recent floods, please contact us or find out more here.
You may also qualify for property tax reductions, deferrals, free vital and property records if yours were damaged due to the winter storm.
